The space where the families and children live is an arid space, nothing compared to the green mountains and flowing rivers from where they come.
In this space they no longer relate to, or cultivate the nature as they had done until a few years ago. This led us to work with the little ones every Sunday to create their first bio-vegetable patch. They have learned about organic fertilizer, how to prepare the ground for sowing, and the processes through which a plant passes.
They have worked together every weekend and we seek the cooperation of the parents so that they can pass on their knowledge and add a touch of green to the community. Our purpose is not only to add some life but also to exchange knowledge.
We are just taking-off and hope that 2017 will be a year of transformation and growth.
